This Privacy Policy explains how Posting ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our web application (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

• TikTok account information. When you sign in with TikTok, we receive your TikTok open_id, display name, avatar URL, and OAuth access and refresh tokens. The specific information depends on the permissions you approve.
• Video files. When you choose a video, we temporarily process that file to send it to TikTok. We delete our temporary copy after the upload attempt.
• Technical information. Our server may record basic technical data such as IP address, request timestamps, browser type, and error codes for security, troubleshooting, and reliability.
• Cookies. We use a small session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising cookies.

2. How we use information

• to authenticate you with TikTok and maintain your session;
• to upload the video you select to your TikTok inbox as a draft;
• to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service;
• to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Legal bases

Where applicable, we process information to perform the Service you request, based on your consent when you authorize TikTok access, and for our legitimate interests in keeping the Service secure and reliable.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We share your video and the necessary OAuth token with TikTok's official API solely to perform the upload you request. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Service.

5. Storage and retention

OAuth tokens are stored on our server with restricted file permissions. Temporary video files are deleted after the upload attempt, whether it succeeds or fails. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging, unless a longer period is required by law. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.

6. Security

We use HTTPS, restricted file permissions, and limited access to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the email below. You can also revoke Posting's access at any time in your TikTok account settings.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International transfers

Information may be processed in countries where our servers or service providers operate, including countries that may have different data protection laws. We take reasonable steps to protect information in accordance with this Policy.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
